My Thoughts on Traveling

I love traveling and I think it's important, here is why. First of all, traveling enables cultural diffusion. A person's culture will have an impact on their worldview (the way they live, how they see the world, the point of life, etc.) And if you don't believe in your culture, then you are not going to be happy. So you need to have the options to explore different cultures and learn how to adapt to the ones you love. In addition to that, different locations around the world provide different experiences. This relates to the country's origin culture, but there is more to it. There are also physical features that enable fabulous ideas and many more. Overall, this is why I think traveling is important.

South Korea

My parents also think that traveling is important which is why I live in South Korea. I wasn't born here and I don't have any roots from Korea, but I still live here. This is because the amount of better opportunities that my entire family has here is better than the amount I will have in my home country which is Israel. Living and traveling around South Korea allowed me to learn English, learn more about Asia, learn about different landforms, and understand the Korean culture.

Israel

Like I mentioned before, Israel is my home country. So I know a lot about it, but that doesn't mean that I can't travel in it. I learned the language, food, history, etc. and that has changed my life for the better. The more I know about the world, the more I will know about myself.

America

America is huge, so I will focus on California. I traveled to California about two years ago and it has taught me so much. I went to a museum where they showed products involving technology (example: machine the Americans used to translate the Nazi code.) I also went to Universal Studios (which was the best!) I learned how they created many famous movies, I saw sets, went on rides, and did many more. All those experiences were related to America's history, culture, or inventions. And they taught me a lot.

Japan

I went to Japan about 4 years ago, and yet I still remember it as if it was yesterday. I went with my parents, brother, and grandparents. It was really fun and although I expected it to be similar to Korea, it wasn't at all. It was unique with their own fashion style, food, etc.

Thailand

I have been to Thailand twice, and each time I have loved it! The ocean is so beautiful and the food is amazing. However, adapting to the tropical weather was a challenge. It can be sunny, and then in seconds, it will start raining. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.
